Why Halcyon Lodge?

If you’re considering becoming a Freemason, or if you’re a Mason searching for a different kind of Lodge, Halcyon may be just what you’ve been looking for. Halcyon is a unique Lodge in many ways that has a lot to offer its members. We have a long history, dating back to 1875, yet the average age of a Halcyon member is only 35. We have a beautiful Masonic Temple that is a source of much Lodge pride, and a growing Masonic research library containing around one thousand volumes.

Halcyon Lodge is also into live music and the visual arts. If you’re a musician or artist you will find a group that shares your love of the beauty to be found in human creativity. We’ve been thinking about murals for the walls and ceilings. Perhaps you would like to perform some of your music at one of our Festive Boards? The Tesla Orchestra is a great example of interest in the arts.

If you’re a sports fan you’re sure to find many friends at Halcyon. Not only do we get together to watch pro and college sporting events, but we also have live events at the temple.

Halcyon is one of the few Lodges that openly discusses America’s Founding Fathers, their ideas, and the need for Civic Virtue in the 21st Century. We believe that Freemasonry is an integral part of the history of our country, and continue to carry on the traditions we inherited from this that came before us.

Perhaps the most valuable thing that Halcyon has to offer is true brotherhood and friendship – the spirit of Freemasonry.

Is Halcyon right for you? Drop by and visit us, or join our Meetup group Freemasonry for Everyone to find out what 21st Century Freemasonry is all about.
